  • Al Frankel, LCSW

    Al Frankel is a divorce mediator, assisting those couples who have already decided that they wish to separate/divorce to do so in a much more constructive manner. When mediating, he co-mediates with attorney-mediator Jill Sanders-DeMott. Al and Jill have been conducting team mediations together for twenty-three years and have a very high success rate.

    When conducting divorce mediation, Al Frankel, LCSW co-mediates with attorney-mediator Jill Sanders-DeMott, J.D.  Team mediation offers couples the benefit of having mediators with both psychological and legal professional backgrounds.  Additionally, this provides a balanced male-female professional team that offers a sense of gender fairness which couples really appreciate.

    Al graduated from Cornell University in 1976 where he earned his BS degree. He earned his Masters in Social Work Degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Social Work in 1978. 

  • Jill Sanders-DeMott, JD

    Jill Sanders-DeMott, J.D. is a divorce mediator in private practice in both Westchester and Putnam Counties. She is an Accredited Member of The NY State Council on Divorce Mediation, where she serves on the Board of Directors and is the past president of the organization. She is also an Advanced Practitioner Member of The Association of Conflict Resolution (formerly The Academy of Family Mediators).

    Jill has worked with the Dispute Resolution Center of Orange, Sullivan & Ulster Counties since 1992, serves on their board of directors and provides divorce mediation services and training for the agency.

    Jill graduated from Bard College with a BA in Psychology, attended law school at Northwestern School of Law and was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in March of 1984.
